This website was established to provide information about the Settlement of a class action lawsuit involving Health Science Products, LLC v. Sage Software SB, Inc.

This website contains important information about a settlement with Defendant Sage Software SB, Inc. in a class action lawsuit titled Health Science Products LLC v. Sage Software SB, Inc. The lawsuit claimed that ACT! 2005 had a materially flawed design that prohibited users from applying all advertised functions of ACT! 2005. The claims asserted in the Action are premised on alleged breach of warranty, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and unjust enrichment. The Settlement was approved on April 24, 2008.

The deadline to participate in the Settlement has passed. Class members who returned a timely and valid claim form within the redemption periods will be paid $45.00 per license.

Payments will be mailed to eligible class members on July 3, 2008. Please allow two weeks for delivery. If it has been two weeks and you have not received your payment or if you have a question regarding the payment you received, please write to the Sage Software Claims Administrator, C/O Rust Consulting, Inc., PO Box 1923, Faribault MN 55021-7178.
